I saw you in the showers of
the moon light. You had
black fur and sharp claws.
Your isolated cries
tried to reach me, but I ran away.
My footsteps grew ugly as I
chased after the rotting fragrance.
The hands of morass honey
swallowed me whole.
Its touch tried to hide the scars
of fallen victims.
It was made from forbidden ingredients,
and it covered itself in sprinkles to
hide its nature.
My belly was a polluted ocean that
wore the costume of clearness,
and I ignored its leaking smell.
I thought it was my sinking home,
until you finally caught up.
That messy grave revealed
your crying face clearly,
Because we’ve shared the same tears.
