“Hunger” is the thing that burns
The smallest Spark
growing into raging Inferno that
gormandizes me from the Inside—
—Out
Never satisfied—
ever voraciously devouring all that comes near
It fills me with Smoke as I try to Chase—
huffing and puffing—
as I run towards
Destiny
forever out of my grasp
It doesn’t flit to he or she or they or you
It eats me; It fills me; It loves me; It kills me; It Lives me
I pray for more Fuel—
lest I die down
